Another great advantage of the Mastervolt lithium ion battery is that it is equipped with a Battery Management System, which automatically compensates for any imbalances between the cells to guarantee a longer battery life.

LiFePO4 Li-ion START batteries have been developed to a high quality and thus also a high voltage throughout the battery’s entire discharge cycle. The life of a LiFePO4 li-ion battery is > 3500 cycles (up to 80% DoD) and >2000 cycles (up to 100% DoD) without the risk of significant wear. These batteries are ideal for sport fishing due to their extreme performance and low weight. The LiFePO4 Li-Ion (100Ah) is also equipped with a built-in BMS that makes Speed charge possible, and protects the battery throughout the charge / discharge.
